Malia Johnson is a Deaf artist/creator, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Malia has traveled many roads in life but has always enjoyed creating art in many different facets. Malia currently lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina where she has been able to actively pursue her artistic work.

Malia works as a licensed massage and bodywork therapist and continually looks for ways to help people with self-care and self-awareness, and that often can be found through art. Malia became inspired in finding ways to help people find their way into health and wellness in their home, workplace or personal self. Art speaks to one’s soul.

Malia’s goal is to encourage self-awareness though the many facets of art that speak to us. Malia’s work can be found in several Western North Carolina stores.
